At the Center for Growth we work with many people suffering from compulsions: Compulsions come in all sizes, shapes and forms. Some people have a dependence to food, while others are fixated on sex, gambling, and / or drugs. In our experience, some people are able to heal themselves from simply recognizing that they are suffering from compulsions and going cold-turkey. Unfortunately, this approach does not work for everyone. Some people need a trained therapist to help them recognize the patterns and to develop the tools to overcome it. Others need hospitalization.
If you think you can overcome your issues on your own, go for it! If you prefer having your own personal guide, do not hesitate to call us. We have therapists trained in helping people like yourself overcome their compulsions.
