How often should I weigh myself? Once a week is a good way to monitor any weight trends (losses or gains) However, people with Anorexia or people with Bulimia who are medically underweight should not have a scale in their home and should have a doctor, therapist, or nutritionist weigh them once a week at a office. That is because they tend to obsess about the number on the scale and this obsession will make the necessary weight gain even more difficult.
