I was the lead counselor for weekly nature day camps with ages 6-9, and 9-12. I designed geocaching courses and supervised the kid’s hunt in the wilderness.
Providence Treatment Center, Media, PA 2021-Current Peer Specialist I cultivated 12-step and meditation-based meetings. I counsel anywhere from 1-10 men at a time move through their treatment plans and stabilize the outside lives they will be returning to. I am a bridge between the residents and the full clinical staff.

Case Management Intern
I was a trauma-informed case manager at an emergency homes shelter. I had a caseload of clients to whom I provided motivational interviewing, counseling, and connecting them to legal, housing, recovery, mental health, and healthcare services. I provided diagnostic intake assessment and evaluation of clients, managing co- occurring treatment needs. I was responsible for managing sensitive and confidential information with professionalism. I created an LGBTQ+ competency training program and facilitated art therapy and started an art therapy group.

I was the day and night supervisor of fourteen 13-18-year-olds and the arts and crafts manager. I was responsible for navigating the public transit system and I was the arts and crafts counselor. Also, I was the facilitator of a workshop specifically for the transgender teenagers.

Harm reduction and safer sex knowledge and training food, and clothes when needed, and weekly speakers on healthcare issues in the community. I worked at the public needle exchange, the drop-in center for the homeless and chemically dependent, and at the front desk, complying with established policies and procedures and managing sensitive data in an empathetic manner. I also did outreach IN the Hell’s Kitchen, providing food, toiletries, and safer sex materials.
